This three-hour course will introduce participants to the OpenMP threading model, and describe the basic constructs necessary to parallelize loops on manycore architectures. Topics covered will include understanding the fork/join threading model, using OpenMP pragmas, and loop parallelization. Familiarity with C/C++ or Fortran is expected.
