Introduction to Parallel Computing on Lonestar

TACC instructors will present various topics covering the architecture and proper use of the Dell Linux Cluster (Lonestar). This class will be of particular interest to computational scientists interested in developing codes for and porting codes to this system.

Users may attend in person or via webcast.

Students attending in person will be given access to a training account on Lonestar in order to complete the training exercises.

Those attending via webcast will not be able to participate in the hands-on exercises. However, if they already have an account on Lonestar, they may work through the exercises on their own.
