How Can I Analyze My Code Roadmap

Analyzing an application code is an important step in adapting scientific applications to run efficiently on high performance computing systems. Debugging, profiling and tracing are part of the analysis; while profiling and tracing focus on characterizing the performance of the application, debugging focuses on diagnosing errors or faults within the application. This roadmap provides information on how to analyze an application to find performance bottlenecks and hot spots, as well as diagnose errors using common program analysis tools. Some of these tools are available on XSEDE resources, but can also be downloaded and installed by the users. (Target audience: XSEDE users)
